Alison Roberts

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, trauma, family conflict, substance use, or big emotions start affecting home, school, work, or relationships.

I work with children, teens, young adults, and adults who need a safe, steady place to sort through what is happening and build healthier ways to cope.

My background includes substance abuse treatment, intensive in-home services, juvenile justice prevention and psychoeducation, group therapy, domestic violence, and sexual trauma. I help clients build insight, emotional regulation, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

In therapy, I use a compassionate, practical approach that may include CBT, play therapy, narrative therapy, psychoeducation, assessment tools, and psychotherapy. Together, we identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, improve communication, and create realistic steps toward safety, stability, and growth.

Reaching out can feel uncomfortable, especially when life already feels heavy. I offer a calm, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and supported. If you are looking for help for yourself, your child, or your teen, I welcome you to reach out for a free 15-minute intro call.
